That is why we find ourselves wondering what happens to the time. Take married couples that have been married for 40 years + They sometimes make the comment that they don't know who this old man or who this old lady is that they are married to. I find that to be a very sorry way to live ones life and a huge misuse of time. That is why life is so short, we aren't paying attention to ourselves, to what we feel, to how we feel and to giving our significant other the same respect. Our relationships have become disposable because we aren't taking the time to value what is precious. It isn't the sum of your bank account, it isn't the Lexus in the driveway, it isn't your 2-story house, it isn't your vacation home in Maui, and it certainly isn't your clothes or your hairstyle, or your shoes... The time you waste on these things could be better spent on how precious your life is. As for the men, if you keep looking on the outside of a woman and cling to superficiality, you will find yourself clinging to no one. Woman will soon turn to other women whether they are gay or NOT because they won't find what they need in the opposite sex! As for women, you will never find a man that truly loves you because you can't continue to fall in love with an idea. I find that to be very superficial too. I'm sure we are all trying to play it safe and not get too involved but you will go through life with a feeling of bitter loneliness that way.
